Andy Stone & Simon Greenhill are Friendship and Respect, the Jazz Folk Improvisation Duo based in Bournemouth & Poole, Dorset.
Exquisite live performance of melodic, artistic, instrumental music played on Acoustic six & twelve string Guitars, subtly accompanied by Percussion , Drums & Cymbals at functions, soirees and venues throughout the UK.

"Beautiful, unique, uplifting sound. Spiritually centred. Revealing years of Professional Musicianship behind pure, flowing Improvisation. This music does not demand anything of the listener but quietly creates a flower in your Soul. Non-confrontational, yet deeply moving. Our creation is a subtle blend of melodic, dynamic, acoustic Drums & Guitars, perfectly fused to create a joyful, easy sound.

“We perform freely improvised music, engaging in tonal, rhythmic conversations with each other, channelled through powerful abstract inspiration. We engage in a process through which we experience a state of grace. Simon & I prepare in order to allow the music to play us, but we do not rehearse.

There is a sense of “letting-go”, but not of losing control. Free falling. Technique occupies its proper role, that of servant.
