SO MANY Rhythm Players out iN the World of Music these Days aRe So Busy being Obsessed with PRACTICING Killer TeChniques & Developing “Monster Chops” that they COMPLETELY MISS THE POINT of GREAT DRUMMING & GREAT MUSIC!!!! >>>
Which is SOUL, FEEL, FLOW!!! >>> ELECTRIFYING the Music You are a Part of !!!!!!!!! >>> Making the Drums or Congas SING!!! >>>
Transfer the JOY & PASSION that is in Your Heart INTO Your Chosen Instrument & theN Share that GREAT VIBE Amongst the other Musicians around You & the Audience infront of You! >>>
I was Watching a Very CoOL Interview with KEITH CARLOCK (Drummer for Steely Dan & Sting) on the “Modern Drummer Festival 2005″ DVD & at the End of a Very EnLiGhteNing Chat about IDEAS & INSPIRATION (on the 3rd Special Features Disc) He Said the Very self~Same Thing! >>>
Keith would Rather See a Drummer Playing with LESS Amazing TeChnique & “Chops” & “More Heart & Soul” because it Sets Up an Atmosphere & GREAT VIBE Up oN the Stage which is INFECTIOUS!! >>>
It Makes EVERONE Around that Type of Player FEEL GOOD & iN the Case of the Other MusiciaNs it”ll Make EVERYONE PLAY BETTER & Have a MUCH Better TiMe!!! >>>
